Make Duct Tape Glow!

This is such a simple yet cool trick to do with duct tape. Just take a piece of duct tape and fold it over on itself (sticky sides facing each other) then pull them apart in the dark. You will see blue light from where the tape is being pullled apart.

This effect is called triboluminescence which is the glow given off when some materials are subjected to mechanical stress or friction. The faster you pull, the brighter the light will be.
